One Saturday evening, it was forecasted to rain the entire night. Knowing this causes difficulty for owls to hunt during the night and a possible delay into the daytime; I set out to photograph a local great grey owl at sunrise. On the morning, dark grey clouds rolled in and cast down rain the entire day. To my amazement, I saw two great grey owls, with the second landing on a spruce branch to my right just three meters away!
